I’m excited to try this for my kids. I have my hands full with a baby and it will be nice if my toddler and pre-schooler can manage their own towels, it’s cold here when we get out of the pool! Looked online a bit and this is the best looking hood I’ve seen. I’ll let you know how it goes!

would this be suitable for 3month baby ?

    • H says:

It may be a bit big to start with. I think Ellie was about 7/8 months when she started with this one (had out grown the baby towels we had).

Could I get the pattern for the hood please?

Thanks for the pattern, I’d much rather make one then buy one at the store.

I just love love love this pattern. Downloaded very late last night and made this afternoon from a couple of old towels that saw me through college mumble mumble years ago. Unlike so many free patterns, measurements are spot on. I zipped mine up on the overlocker so super quick. I found an old pink flannel which I appliquéd into the ears to make them even more cat like. Thank you so much. My toddler is SO excited. Now itching to try the bloomers for babe… and the romper… Daddy bow idea kills me! I wonder if it will work here…

I have tried to download this, but I get to the final payment screen and it changes from the poncho to the dribble bib. Am I doing something wrong? Would love to make this for my granddaughter.

Hi, I recieved the e-mail with the download info, but there is no link. It just says HERE ARE YOUR DOWNLOAD DETAILS: and a blank space under. Then it says that if I have any issues, I should check FAQ. Well, that doesn’t do me no good either :)
I hope there is a solution for this :) I dont really need the template for shaping the hood, I just need to know how long it should be ;) The tutorial is very nice and I dont want to cut the hood blind and ruin the fabric. Thanx

Hi Vladjenka – I’ve just re-sent your email – hopefully the poncho pattern download is included now?
Thanks for letting me know that you were having issues – I played around with some of the scripts on the site to try and speed it up a bit and I can only guess that it inadvertently messed up some of the shop features.
Hopefully it will all work again now.
Dito – I couldn’t find your order to resubmit it but if you try again then it should allow you to get the poncho towel. If not let me know!

Dear Ellie – love the poncho hooded towel idea but I also have also had problems getting a download code and it also refers to the dribble bib. Any ideas?

    • H says:

Please retry – I have undone some changes I was making to the site, which may have inadvertently upset the downloads. Thanks for your patience, H.
